Ah, the perfect combination for me...flying and fighting fire. This old Sailor now serves as a forest fire tanker. I've never seen an aerial fire operation, I'll bet it's cool to watch. Lockeed P-3A Orion(?) parked at Lovell Field in C'nooga, TN.

Yes, that's a converted Lockheed P-3 Orion, which itself was a modified Lockheed Electra airliner.Seems odd to see one without a MAD tail!
