N706SK2005 Bombardier CL-600-2C10 flying for United Airlines Express on final to Glenn E. Messer Field in B'ham, Alabama.
Glenn Messer flew with Eddie Rickenbacker in WWI and returned to B'ham and cleared an airfield out for him and his associates to fly. The airport was named for him many years ago, but recent "political correctness" have decided to ignore Birmingham's rich aviation history and the Airport is now named for a local fellow named Shuttlesworth. IIRC, he has nothing of the sort of connection to aviation that Capt. Messer did.
