Augusta Westland A109 Power
2 in operation so far. Pilots on secondment from Royal Malaysian Air Force. Other crew are specially trained fire fighters.
Equipment available & fitted when needed are:
1. Rescue Hoist (fitted beside the BOMBA sign.
2. Nite sun
3. FLIR (which is fitted in housing in rear.
4. Auto water floats - already fitted.

Comments:
This helicopter is used to transport MFRD Senior Officers to the fire ground or incident site. beside that it also been used in medium scale air rescue role.
