SAI KZ III Lark ambulance OY-DZA
2-seat ambulance aircraft photographed in the Stauning Aircraft Collection, Denmark, on 11 June 2012. C/n 66.
The KZ-III prototype was equipped with a 90 hp de Havilland Gipsy Major I engine, while the subsequent prototype and the production models were fitted with the 100 hp Cirrus Minor II.
The first of this model made its maiden flight in 1944, painted in ambulance colours as seen here.
About 24 of the 64 of this model built are still flying.
