RNLAF Cougar MKII

The Royal Netherlands Air Force has 17 Cougar MK II helicopters. They use them to transport troops into combat zones, to get wounded out of the danger zone, and to transport supplies.
The Soesterberg Air Force base is there home base. They came into service in 1996 and 1997, and were built by Eurocopter.

Hi Harry, found this in Wikipedia :
The Eurocopter AS532 Cougar is a twin-engined, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter developed by France. The AS532 is a development and upgrade of the AƩrospatiale Puma in its militarized form. (Its civilian counterpart is the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma.) The AS532 has been further developed as the Eurocopter EC725.
