38+69 ready for takeoff

German McDonnell Phantom ready for take off.

Israel, Japan and Germany have upgraded their Phantoms with new avionics and capabilities. Given these upgrades the F-4 Phantom II will continue to capture the skies and continue to fly into the next decade.

The F-4F 38+69 (SN 72-1279) is an ex Flying Training Centre F-4F aircraft and will now fly the rest of its life time with the 71 FW at Wittmund AB.
