Bristol Britannia 9G-AAG at Filton Air Show 1962

Brand new, ready for delivery to Ghana Airways and gleaming in the sunshine, I think it was 1962 when I photographed this Britannia, although it could have been in 1961. Other aircraft flying that day were a Vickers Valiant, at least four of the Thunderbirds F-100 Super Sabres and a KB-50J demonstrating air refuelling of a Voodoo, a Destroyer and a Super Sabre. Unfortunately my photos of all these are too blurred to post here.
I believe this Britannia was re-registered G-ANCH some time later.

Many thanks for the date, Roger.

Sorry, Roger, I have now extracted the original photo from my album, and on the back is the date 9 July 1960, with a note that this was the first Britannia 305. This is confirmed by the "Flight" archive of 15 July 1960, page 79, which confirms that Britannia 305 9G-AAG was in the static display of the Bristol branch of the Royal Air Forces Association.
The production list states Bristol 175-309, c/n 12924, broken up at Biggin Hill in August 1973 as G-ANCH after service with Ghana Airways and IAS Cargo International Aviation Service, having been built in 1958.
