Lancaster DV286 propeller blade at Krakow

Propeller from Avro Lancaster DV286 (BH-C), shot down by a Messerschmitt 110 over the Ijsselmeer in Holland while returning to England from a raid on Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Crew members P/O Feil, F/Sgt Rembecki, F/Sgt Bokros, Sgt Leppert, Sgt Miszturak, all killed in action (KIA); P/O Morski prisoner of war (POW).
Photographed in the Krakow Aviation Museum on 12 August 2008.
"Lest we forget"
Recovered in 2003 and presented to the Museum in 2007.
