Blackburn Buccaneer S.1 XN964 at Newark

Photographed on 28 September 2008, freshly painted, XN964 is a sight for sore eyes, looking wonderful in its Royal Navy markings as "118".
C/n B3-19-62. The oil tanker kill marking just below the forward cockpit is in recognition of its part in destroying the crippled oil tanker "Torrey Canyon" after running aground off Land's End in 1967.
This aircraft served with 801, 800, 736 and 803 NAS.
