Built by Skandinavisk Aero Industri in Denmark and shipped to Sweden for test flying in 1944, during World War 2; first flew on 21 April 1945. It had several Swedish owners, and was finally donated to the Museum in 1969. A total of 64 of these aircraft were built up to the end of production in 1947.

The original engine was replaced in March 1957 by a Cirrus Minor II, after the aircraft had flown 986:25 flying hours.
