Curtiss Model D headless pusher SweetheartPhotographed on 3 August 2003 at the EAA Museum, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Built in 1911, this aircraft was constructed in Hammondsport, New York and flown in exhibitions from 1912 to 1914 by John G Kaminski.
Called "headless" because it had no elevator in front of the pilot, which otherwise was usual at that time.
